Digivey Survey Software for survey kiosks

Creoso's Digivey survey software is designed for interactive touch screen surveys. Its use for survey kiosks and other touch screen computing equipment is highly recommended. The Digivey survey software creates a safe self-service environment and auto-protects your data.

TouchPresenter information kiosk software

Creoso's information kiosk software TouchPresenter lets the user put together tailor-made kiosk content. It can be used to create a kiosk start page and link to an unlimited number of kiosk pages. Content from multiple sources is supported, including PowerPoint, web, multimedia and more.

Both of the above software programs run under Microsoft Windows operating system XP and Vista and are compatible with Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit. Minimum hardware requirements: 1 MB RAM; 30 GB HDD.

Location matters. Indoors or Outdoors? Most kiosks offered are intended for indoor use. Kiosks built for indoors should not be exposed to the elements and do not feature outdoor readable screens and temperature regulated enclosures. Kiosks suitable for outdoor use are now available from a variety of manufacturers.
Location matters to attract customers to the kiosk. For customers to be attracted to the kiosk, the kiosk location must be highly visible and easily accessible.
Space. How much space is available for the kiosk? If space is scarce, consider a wall-mounted touch computer rather than a full-size kiosk.
Size of display. What will the kiosk content be? For self-service surveys a display size from 15 to 19 inches is recommended. For interactive information kiosks the display size should ideally be between 17 and 32 inches. For information kiosk and digital signage applications without direct customer interaction there are no limitation with regards to the display size.
Printer. Do you want the kiosk to print something on demand? While the kiosks of most manufacturers are available with optional coupon printer (80 mm printer), not every kiosk model is available with large format printer.
Enclosure. What enclosure material do you prefer? Steel and aluminum kiosk enclosures are the standard. Occasionally, kiosks made from other materials like plastic compounds, wood and rock are offered. Most metal kiosks feature powder-coated steel enclosures. The quality of the powder-coating is important as scratches are impossible to repair. Aluminum kiosk enclosures are made of durable anodized aluminum and are either surface treated, brushed or polished or they are made of colored aluminum sheets. Occasionally, aluminum kiosks are available with powder-coated finish.
Keyboard or touch screen or both? Kiosk keyboards make the kiosk more expensive and interrupt the slim silhouette and elegant looks of kiosks. Unless applications are run on the kiosk that require a lot of typing, touch screen interface with on-screen ("soft keyboard") only is sufficient for the majority of self-service applications.
Internet connectivity. Check in the early planning phase what type of internet connectivity is needed and if it is required at all. For example, none of CREOSO's software applications require permanent internet connectivity for its basic functions to run. Once it's determined that wired or wireless internet connection will be needed, you may want to check your options regarding internet security early on.
